About
From the boardroom to the breathwork mat
Mark Worster is the author of Hands Up, Big Smile and the founder of The New Mysteries, a transformative practice blending neuroscience, ancient wisdom, and somatic healing.
A former Marine and CEO of a successful technology company for thirty years, Mark understands the invisible operating system that drives high performers, what he calls the Ghost Drive. It is the survival code downloaded in childhood that creates relentless achievers, but eventually becomes the trap.
The turning point
In 2011, amid the confluence of a failing business, the loss of a relationship, and a violent family tragedy, Mark's survival code finally broke. A near fatal battle with depression forced him to look outside the C-suite for answers.
The rewire
He spent the next fifteen years studying neuroscience, the autonomic nervous system, and somatic healing modalities to find the way out. He became a trained breathwork facilitator and sought out indigenous technologies, eventually studying and receiving initiation into the ancient practices of the Q'ero tribe of the Andes mountains.
The mission
Today, people call him the happiest guy in the room. It is not a brand. It is the result of uninstalling the survival program and upgrading to a state of boundless joy. He now teaches high performing entrepreneurs how to stop outsourcing their sanity to the P&L and start leading from radical joy.
Mark also stewards The New Mysteries, a church offering this work to a general congregation.
